Richard Berkowitz Honored as Ultimate CEO

LAUDERDALE, FL, Sept. 27, 2018 – Berkowitz Pollack Brant Advisors and Accountants’ Founding and Executive Chairman Richard A. Berkowitz, JD, CPA, was recognized by South Florida Business Journal at its annual Ultimate CEO awards program.

Berkowitz is a long-time business leader and professional. The advisory and accounting firm he founded in 1980 is an Accounting Today and Inside Public Accounting Top 100 firm and one of the largest in Florida.

A devoted community servant, Berkowitz currently chairs the technology committee and is a member of the executive committee of the Broward Workshop, He also serves on the board and is treasurer of The Miami Foundation.

Past leadership positions include chairman of the Dolphins Cancer Challenge, the Community Foundation of Broward and Take Stock in Children’s state board. Berkowitz has been honored for his community service by Junior Achievement of Broward County, Leadership Broward, the University of Miami and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
