South Florida Business Journal Honors Berkowitz Pollack Brant Executives as 2021 Power Leaders

MIAMI, Feb. 2, 2021 – Berkowitz Pollack Brant Advisors + CPAs is proud to announce that Founding and Executive Chairman Richard Berkowitz and CEO Joseph Saka were again included on the South Florida Business Journal’s annual list of the region’s top-250 Power Leaders.

According to the newspaper, the 2021 Power Leaders, selected by the publication’s editorial team, includes a “who’s who of public and private sector executives who effectively lead their companies through the challenges that come with growing a business in such a competitive business market.”

Richard A, Berkowitz, JD, CPA, is founding and executive chairman of Berkowitz Pollack Brant Advisors + CPAs, which he established in 1980 to provide clients with a comprehensive approach to income, estate, financial and investment planning. He continues to serve as a trusted accountant, financial advisor and business consultant to entrepreneurs and businesses representing a wide range of industries across the globe, while also serving the local community in various leadership positions, including chairman of the board of The Miami Foundation, trustee of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce and executive committee member of the Broward Workshop, Florida Council of 100 and Take Stock in Children. Joseph L. Saka, CPA/PFS, is CEO of Berkowitz Pollack Brant Advisors + CPAs, where he provides income and estate planning, tax consulting and compliance services to entrepreneurs, high-net-worth families and business executives in the US and abroad. He has extensive experience in dealing with international tax issues including pre-immigration tax planning, foreign investment into the U.S., and foreign and asset protection trusts. Saka earned a master’s degree in taxation and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Florida International University.
